Tired of Waiting? Read This.

“When we’re at peace to divine timing, we are aligned to life’s natural, un-rushed unfolding and tapped into the joy of the journey.”

The right timing is divine timing…

Waiting.

It can stink.

There’s a part of me that wants it all to happen now.

I want to grow, and I want to grow big RIGHT NOW.

But when I take a deep breath and connect to my heart, the truth tells me that: 

“When we are truly aligned to our natural soul growth, we are in flow. And when we are in flow, all is unfolding at just the right time and in just the right way.”

BUT… If I’m not mindful, my social conditioning will override that truth to tell me that it’s all happening way too s-l-o-w-l-y.

One powerful way I began to re-program this conditioning was by getting to know my Human Design type.

It turns out that I was literally designed for waiting.

My strategy asks me to WAIT for the invitation.

My open throat center asks me to WAIT until invited to speak.

My individual circuitry asks me to WAIT for the right timing before I share my truth.

So…

Much…

Waiting…

In fact, ALL Human Design Types require some waiting, and this can make us feel bitter and IMPATIENT.

The good news is when you release the resistance, waiting can be truly delightful – when approached the right way.

Because the truth is…there’s a right time to heal, get clarity, create, launch, connect, receive messages from our guides, and let go.

When we’re at peace to this divine timing, we are aligned to life’s natural, un-rushed unfolding and tapped into the joy of the journey.

Although we can’t speed up divine timing, we can influence it, and here are 5 powerful ways how:

One, REDEFINE. 

This is when we redefine “waiting” to become LIVING.

And you’re living your most joyous life until the next big opportunity, aha, or creative spark comes along.

Two, RELAX.

Finding true ways to relax on the daily will help you to find your flow and relax into the diving timing of things.

And watch out for “false relaxation.” For example, I used to think drinking wine helped me to relax, but alcohol actually made me sick and disrupted my sleep.

Three, PLAY.

Earth is meant to be a playground, and most of us spend too much time working and worrying. So how can you add more fun to your experience while you wait?

I know you’ve heard this before, but if you’re like me, it takes awhile to sink in!

So take a few deep breaths, connect to your heart, and ask: “What can I do or be to add more fun to my every day?”

Four, SUPPORT.

Having the right support structures is an important part of growing bigger. So if you’re feeling called to grow to the next level of your potential, what resources or support are you being called to put in place NOW to support you as you grow?

Five, CREATE.

The time we’re waiting is our time to be living deeper into our self-mastery.

What do you feel called to create? How do you feel called to be in expression of your unique genius? Enter your creative lab and start to experiment.

And then, of course, there is HEAL.

Healing is not #6 because it’s present in all parts of the journey. So as we redefine, relax, play, build support structures, and create, we’re healing.

And when these things become your focus, waiting turns into living. And when waiting turns into living, the divine timing of your next big opportunity, aha, or creative spark arrives with joy, ease, and awe.

My invitation for you is to notice where waiting is making you feel bitter or impatient. Can you shift your focus to something better – like rest, play or creativity?
