In our society, we believe that in order to earn money and build wealth, we need to hustle and grind — that the harder we work, the more money we will make. And if we slow down or make space for anything else in our lives, this will affect our income. In this belief system, the focus is on effort, rather than flow.

Rather than being empowering, this belief system around earning money is actually extremely limiting!

Over the last year, I’ve found that the more I meditate, the more desires I manifest… and the more money I make. Because when we meditate and create more energetic space, we’re able to call in MORE.

More growth, more connection, more creativity, more joy, and more abundance.

[00:00:00] Hello, my dear ones. How are we doing on this fine day? I decided to pick an Oracle card for this episode to be our mascot, our guiding light as I unpack this really, really exciting and powerful topic for today. And I got my dear friend, Whitney McNeil’s Messenger of Spirit Oracle Deck, and I interviewed Whitney on the show.

[00:00:31] We will link to her episode in the notes, if you wanna check that one out because it was a special episode. And I pulled for us the butterfly card and the message is break through your limits. And this is the perfect card for what I wanna talk about today, and that is, bluntly, the more I meditate, the more money I make.

[00:01:04] And that, my dear ones, is such an energetic theme for 2023. It started last year this mantra, this energy frequency. And it really started coming in at the end of last year, and now it’s really here. And I’m going to unpack with you today exactly what this means. And it’s so important because

[00:01:31] our limits. You know, the butterfly is telling us to break through our limits. And our limits are really our belief systems around earning money and it’s really manifesting any desire. So, as we go through today’s topic, I want you to look at it as the more I meditate, the more desires I manifest and our limits are gonna tell us that if, for example, you want to bring in more money in 2023, that you have to work hard, you have to work harder.

[00:02:12] There’s a direct correlation to effort that really feels like effort, not like flow, but like, yeah, I’m, hustling here, I’m grinding. And then the more I do that, the more results I will get as a result of that effort. And it’s a really hard belief system to untrain ourselves on, and it shows up in a lot of subtle ways, even if we really feel like we’ve overall shifted out of that grind, hustle, belief system.

[00:02:50] It often shows up in our experiences in ways that we don’t even recognize. So, the butterflies here are to tell us to break through these limits because this is a limit. Saying we have to grind really hard to receive is a limit. And any other thoughts or belief systems that arrive to you to say that manifesting your dreams is difficult.

[00:03:16] It’s hard. It takes a lot of hard steps and choices, and there are so many roadblocks in the way. That is a limit, that is a wound, and the butterfly is asking us to heal those wounds, break through those limits, and tap into the ease and flow and harmony that 2023 and the collective energy that’s here is inviting us to.

[00:03:49] So, let’s get to it. In today’s episode, I reveal why meditation or getting quiet is so important this year. What to do if it’s hard or challenging to quiet your mind and how to turn a daily meditation or inner reflection practice into a powerful money manifesting tool. We’ll end on an invitation that will have you manifesting your highest dreams and intentions in magical ways from the power of meditation.

[00:05:59] So I might be playing around with that for the next few months until I land on something that really feels like it’s matching the energy of the heart of the soul guide circle and I’m so glad you’re here and part of it, and I’m so happy you’re here and part of it. So let’s get into why meditation is so important this year, and I hear it a lot from members of the Soul Guide Circle.

[00:06:27] For some of you, meditation comes relatively easily, and for others you might feel like you have a hard time accessing true meditation. And what is true meditation anyway. Well, I really invite you to open up the definition and it really is just connection to the breath, a sinking in of the body and a slowing down of your thoughts.

[00:06:55] So whatever you wanna call that. If that sounds like meditation to you, fantastic. And if that just sounds like inner reflection, daily spiritual practice, connecting in, going to the inner cave. Whatever words arrive to you to describe that connection, that quiet stillness, and it’s really a relaxation that we tap into.

[00:07:29] I’m just going to use the word meditation for the purposes of this podcast, but you use the word and words that speak to you. And ultimately when we meditate, there’s so many different things we could be doing. We could be doing, you know, guided meditations where we’re visioning, where we’re healing, where we’re doing all manner of things.

[00:07:54] But what I really invite in is that each and every meditative practice has in there some time for nothing but breathing, getting quiet, inviting in relaxation, and inviting in spaciousness, because that’s what the collective energy that is here with us now. That’s what it’s inviting, is for us to create more energetic space, expand out, expand our containers, and it’s in that expansion that we’re able to call more growth in and new growth in and higher growth.

[00:08:48] And it’s in that expansion that we’re able to hold more, hold more wealth, hold more joy, hold more connection, hold more creativity, and meditation is one of the key ways to create that space and expand your energy out. And it starts simply by sinking into your body, coming into this present moment, focusing on your breath, long, deep inhales, long, deep exhales into the lower part of your belly, which is how we’re meant to breathe, not in the upper part of your chest.

[00:09:38] You can tell the difference when you breathe into the upper part of your chest vs. the lower part of your chest, the lower part of your belly. You can feel that difference. There’s just so much more relaxation and expansion in that lower part of the belly, and it’s in this connection to our breath, where we connect into our body.

[00:10:06] It’s where we connect into our intuitive touch points. Our intuitive touchpoints are in our body from the neck down. It’s our heart, it’s our gut. It’s our overall feeling, our senses. We access these intuitive touchpoints in the body, and it’s from the body, from this connection, from this quiet place that we really tap into our higher self, our divine guidance team, and this is where we most powerfully break through our limits because our limits are found

[00:10:47] in our brain, in our thinking mind, in our belief systems, and in the wounds that we hold onto that are a result of those belief systems and the circumstances that created those wounds. So, when we wanna release the wounds, we’re in our body. When we want to connect to our higher self, we’re in the body.

[00:11:13] When we want to meditate and be still and get quiet, we’re in the body. So, meditation, you know, another word to access what I’m talking about here is embodiment. The more we embody, the more we manifest our desires. It is embodiment. So, this all sounds very nice and good and great, and I know very well that for myself and for some of y’all out there, you have times maybe

[00:11:50] just from time to time, or maybe all the time where it can feel very hard to quiet that mind and truly sink into your body. So, the first thing I want you to do, if you relate to this, if you ever have those times where it feels challenging, give yourself compassion. Compassion. It’s okay. It’s okay. It’s part of our path to learn how to connect into the body.

[00:12:21] We weren’t taught this in elementary school. I’m teaching my daughter Freya now how to be in her body. She does it a lot naturally because she hasn’t been untaught. You know, I think of my dog, Astrid. All dogs sleep a lot, but Greyhounds sleep like no other. They sleep all day. And when they’re not sleeping, they’re in what I call screensaver mode, where they’re just staring into space comatose, and they have a spectacular metabolism.

[00:13:02] And they literally are designed from snout to paw claw to sprint. Every part of their design. They’re like a Ferrari. Designed to go fast. So, what do you need to go fast? You need really big lungs. That’s why they have those huge lungs. They have the same body as a cheetah, which is obviously another fast animal, and they need to sleep a lot and rest a lot so they can have a burst of that sprint.

[00:13:37] And most greyhounds are not long-distance runners. They don’t like to go on a five-mile run with you, they just want a sprint. And they sprint and they sprint, and they sprint, and then they’re like, all right, I’m ready to go back to my old bed and go back to sleep, or to screensaver mode. Why am I bringing this up now?

[00:13:57] Because unless a greyhound is in physical pain, it will have no trouble sleeping at any time and wouldn’t that be amazing if that were you and me? We could just sleep whenever we’re tired in the middle of the day. In the middle of the night, and yes, okay, so if we have physical pain, that will make it hard for us to sleep.

[00:14:23] But most of us, most of the time, if we have a hard time sleeping, it’s because we have worry. Our mind is going, we have a problem, we have something that is on our mind in our energetic space that won’t enable us to get relaxed enough to go into a sleep state. And this is true if you wanna sleep or if you wanna meditate or go into a state of embodiment and quiet and enter your inner cave.

[00:15:03] So what can we do? When that mind is just going around and around and around, well, here are some really powerful tips and tricks. Always going back to the breath. So long inhales, long exhales. And then if you do notice a thought or you feel like your thoughts are really going, turn your thoughts into a cloud or a bubble or something that floats and watch it float.

[00:15:35] If that doesn’t work, cause it’s like, oh yeah, my, my thoughts just keep floating on back. Then see if you can release a wound. Try to find the thought that’s most annoying or painful or resisting. Then imagine that thought is 100% true just for a few minutes. Right? Cause most of our painful thoughts, we don’t believe a hundred percent of the time.

[00:16:02] So for the purposes of releasing the wound, imagine that the painful thought is a hundred percent true. Name the painful emotions that are triggered. When the thought does feel true, feel those feels, feel, feel, feel. If it’s fear, shame, anger, sadness, feel those low vibrational emotions and release. And then go back to the breath

[00:16:29] and notice if your thoughts are getting quieter, if they’re getting more spacious. The goal here is not to shut off our thoughts completely. That is very, very challenging. The goal is just to slow them down, create more space between the thoughts coming in, enabling yourself to sink deeper into your body and really connect into your intuitive touchpoints.

[00:17:04] Now, if that didn’t really work or just helped a little bit, then it’s a good idea to check into your human design chart. This is very simple. Look at your chart and see if you have an open or defined head center and Ajna. Those are the top two triangles on your body graph that is in the Headspace, so it’s the very top two triangles.

[00:17:31] If it’s colored in on your body graph, it’s defined. If it’s white, if there’s no color, it’s undefined and we’ll leave a link in the show notes where you can get your chart if you don’t already have it. If you are defined in one or both places you will, you may find. Now this is just our tendency, so it’s not absolutes.

[00:17:58] You may find that you have a harder time quieting your thoughts because guess what? You’re de designed to think, you’re a thinker. I have definition at both my head and my ajna, and I like to think. I like to analyze. I like to hash things out, and I actually enjoy being lost in my thoughts. So, you might be surprised to hear that because I’m this spiritual mentor who’s always, always talking about sinking into the body and quieting your thoughts.

[00:18:30] And at the same time, I am a thinker, and I am here to think and explore ideas. Now I believe that I access my ideas most powerfully when I’m sunk into my body. And of course, I can still explore these ideas sunk into my body and connected into my heart space. But if you have definition here that’s beautiful, it’s just a part of who you are.

[00:18:57] You have very clear thoughts, you have very clear opinions, ideas, right? So, if this is you and if you have openness here, you may find that you can access meditative states with greater ease and that you have a little bit more easeful time quieting your thoughts, right? But either way, here is a trick for you, and I came up with this trick because of my definition.

[00:19:24] So imagine that there is like a window shade that’s around your head and you’re gonna start meditating or going into your inner cave and the, it’s like you’re pulling the window shade around your whole head, your brain and when you do that, you’re setting the intention to quiet your thoughts. It’s like a little visual wall, and you’re just sunk into the body, starting your deep breathing and pulling down the shades over your head

[00:20:01] and really like, I think I stop around my ears. I Don’t pull the shades around my whole head. I just kind of pull them around my brain, so the shade stops around my ears, and I just say, okay, brain shades are down. Time for you to be quiet. This is a really powerful technique for me to get that, those thoughts, to stop churning and being so loud.

[00:20:25] So try head shade trick and see if that works. The other thing to try is meditative meditation and movement. Walking out in nature, especially if you have solitude or a bit of solitude where you’re alone. Any type of movement that’s repetitive, like swimming, dancing, yoga, anything that gets you in the body and gets you connecting and gets your mind slowing down so you can embody, and you can create that energetic space.

[00:21:09] Okay, so how do we turn our daily meditation into a powerful money manifesting tool or desire manifesting tool? [00:22:16] So last year I was launching Soul Blueprint and it was going really well and I was doing all the things. I was doing live classes and sending emails and all of those nice things, and I would just do check-ins with my Divine support team to say, what else do I need to do? Who else do I need to be to really fill Soul Blueprint with soul clients?

[00:22:41] The message I kept getting over and over was to fortify my meditation in the morning and in the evening. So, they kept saying meditate at least 10 minutes in the morning and at least 10 minutes at night. So, 20 minutes a day. Meditate was my answer, and I got frustrated. I was like, I don’t wanna meditate.

[00:23:04] I wanna be doing classes and Facebook lives and really amazing emails, and I wanna be doing all this stuff because for me to attract soul clients and therefore attract wealth, I have to do, what are you telling me to do? Divine guidance team. I can’t just be in a meditative state and earn wealth. That was my limits.

[00:23:30] My limits were coming in telling me it’s not possible to manifest wealth from a state of being. There’s got to be a state of doing so it’s a good thing butterfly is here to guide us to this episode and remind us to break through our limits and say, yes, you can manifest your soul guided dreams and desires from a state of being, that is the true essence of meditation.

[00:24:09] It’s being, it’s in the body. It’s not thinking about doing something. It’s not making a checklist. It’s not designing a strategy. It’s being. Being in relaxation, being an expansion, being an embodiment connected to your divine support team, and I resisted, I’ll be the first to say, and I would say, can you give me something else other than to meditate, please?

[00:24:48] And they would say, yeah, sure. Meditate. Let me tell you, my divine support team doesn’t let me get away with anything. So, they just very annoyingly continued to tell me what I need in any given moment, and they often don’t give me what I want. What I wanted was to do, but I didn’t really want that. I didn’t really want to do at all. I wanted to be, but I was just trapped

[00:25:20] in this idea that to get wealth, get results I have to do, and the collective energy of 2023 is saying be. Be and see your desires manifest from these powerful states of being, which is accessed when we meditate and go into our inner cave and get quiet. That is us being, so we turn our daily meditation into a powerful manifesting tool.

[00:26:08] When we do just that, when we go into the state of being of relaxation, when we go into the state of being of spaciousness and you want to invite in creating space and only after, only after you’ve spent some time, whether it’s two minutes or 10 minutes in the state of being of relaxation and in the state of being of spaciousness and expansion.

[00:26:43] If you wish, you can tune into your divine support team and ask your higher self for an intention. It can be to intend to earn more wealth. It can be to intend to have deeper relationships or live healthier. Try not to tell your higher self what you want the intention to be. I noticed when I was doing this

[00:27:11] and this is a process I do every single day. I meditate every morning. I spend time getting relaxed and spacious, and then I connect to my higher self and ask for an intention. And I was noticing that I was basically telling my higher self to always give me an intention around my business. I want a business intention that this will happen or that will happen in my business.

[00:27:34] So I was like, oh, wow, I’m giving my higher self parameters. I was kind of only really listening for intentions around the business, so I kind of noticed that for myself. Typically, that’s the kind of thing that my divine support team would correct in me, but I guess, I don’t know, they wanted me to sort of discover this for myself.

[00:27:57] Maybe I could learn the lesson deeper that I really want to be, and I invite you to be open, open to the intention that wants to come through. And it may not be an intention you want, but I promise it will be one you need. So, you’ve spent some time deep breathing, you’ve spent some time in relaxation and expansion.

[00:28:19] You connect to, you’re already connected. I mean you’re already embodied. So, you kind of focus in your attention on your higher self. Ask for an intention for the day. What is my, what is an intention that you are calling me to set on this day? So let me connect my higher self in this moment and get an intention for all of us.

[00:28:41] I will call in a collective intention for this moment in time where you’re listening to this podcast. I intend to

[00:28:55] earn

[00:28:59] wild abundance in 2023 while

[00:29:11] creating from the heart and lifting up humanity. Ooh, I like that. I will take that one on. Yes, higher self. Thank you. I intend to manifest wild abundance in 2023 while creating from the heart and lifting up humanity from a place of ease and flow. I have, I like really to end all of my intentions on ease and flow.

[00:29:37] So if that feels good to you, go ahead and add that on.

[00:29:43] And then you just want to imagine that that intention is fulfilled. Okay. You’ve done that for 20, it’s December 31st, 2023, or it’s the end of the year and you’ve done that for the year, how would that feel? Abundant, easeful, flowing, loving, expanding, exhilarating, connecting. Be in those energy frequencies for five seconds, 20 seconds, a minute.

[00:30:22] Just be. Be in that state of being of those high vibrational emotions of your intention, fulfilled.
