This Week’s Invitation
Ask yourself, “How can I become more of a guide by your side in my marketing content and less of a performer or less of a doing what I see other people doing, and I think this may work for me even though it doesn’t feel great, and in a way to truly serve my audience?”
[00:00:00] Welcome to Soul Alive Radio. This is where your spiritual intelligence is amplified, your spiritual gifts are activated, and your higher self gets the mic. When you live in full energetic alignment, your current ceiling becomes your floor. It’s time to be soul alive Hey, ho, dear ones. Today we’re gonna be talking about the future of marketing, and this is really for the listeners of this podcast who are soul-guided, heart-led entrepreneurs who feel like you are in service to something higher, and you are here to make real money doing the work you do and having a real impact.
[00:00:47] And these are my predictions for the next era. And as we move into twenty twenty-seven, we’re moving into the incarnation cross of the sleeping phoenix, which is a human design term for a four hundred-year cycle that will outline some of the themes we can expect to unfold in the collective. So as we move into the first, you know, years of this four hundred-year cycle, how is this gonna affect our business?
[00:01:24] And the sleeping phoenix is very much aligned to some of the things happening in astrology. It’s all telling the same version of the story. And I recently met with a business astrologer who offered her predictions for what will come next from an astrological perspective, and some of what she said immediately caught my attention.
[00:01:52] She says we’re moving away, again, astrologically speaking, from shallow content and more towards depth. And moving away from, for example, influencers on social media who are not offering depth. So if you think of the travel influencers, um, the ones who are going to all these fabulous places with this sort of, look at me, aren’t I cool in these places?
[00:02:29] Don’t I look great? Aren’t I hot? Here I am putting on my makeup. And this whole influencer culture, which is really all about the influencer. And what that– I mean, let’s be honest here, thank God, is going to be dying out. Now, I don’t know how fast, and if you talk to my nine-year-old daughter, she would be like, “No way.
[00:02:55] This is exactly what I wanna watch.” So we’ll see how this plays out, but I think in the more m-mature audiences, and certainly, uh, older audiences, are going to be very happy if this trend does indeed fall away. And moving into depth and service. So again, let’s say you are a travel, uh, influencer, we’ll keep that word, and you’re traveling, but it’s more about experience.
[00:03:29] Well, I went to this place and I had this spiritual experience, or I did this healing, or maybe I invite you to travel to this place and here’s what you could discover. So it’s more in service to the listener. There’s more depth, there’s more meaning, there’s more purpose, and not just buy this makeup, don’t I look pretty?
[00:03:53] Uh, try out this trend. The sort of shallow things we see on the internet right now, which I truly can’t stand, and my daughter loves . So the younger people seem to be really eating this up, which is why it’s so popular now. But astrologically, and what I’m receiving psychically and what human design is saying is that this shallow influencer culture is going to be dissipating.
[00:04:24] And as I sat with everything that the astrologer was telling me, I realized it really matches what I’ve been seeing and what I’ve been receiving intuitively. And that is depth is going to be replacing the shallow. Because for years, social media has rewarded attention, the loudest voice, the prettiest image, the most polished lifestyle And a lot of that is just false, fake, inauthentic, smoke and mirrors, not based on reality.
[00:05:08] And that is so going against the era of the sleeping phoenix, which is all about real, true, authentic. This is the era we’re moving into where people are less interested in being impressed and more interested in being supported. As such, less interested in influencers and more interested in guides, people who can help them navigate change, people who can help them make sense of their lives, authentic people being true, being real, who can help them move forward.
[00:05:52] And ultimately, the future of marketing and social media content, I believe, belongs to the guide by your side. And so let’s dig into this. The first real aspect of the new era of authentic marketing is that depth will outperform performance. People are craving substance and less “look at me” and more “here’s what I learned, and here’s how it might help you.”
[00:06:28] People want authentic stories and practical wisdom I just completed a human design family certification program because I’m really trying to move into human design expertise and mastery. So I’m taking a lot of different types of human design classes right now. And I know the instructor very well. I’ve taken a lot of classes from her.
[00:06:56] I like her a lot. I like her teaching style a lot, which is why I keep choosing her. But it was interesting. You know, I’m a parent, and I don’t necessarily coach parents as a theme, but a lot of my clients happen to be parents. So it’s hard to take a human design and parenting class and not self-actualize, not think about how you’re parenting with your own kids.
[00:07:24] And I think that’s part of the program, but I think the other part of the program, the purpose of it was then, okay, you’re gonna become a human design parenting coach, so then how do you offer this for others? But I — when I wa– the first time I went through the materials, and I’m gonna go through them all again, I very much was approaching the whole course from the lens of my own experience, right?
[00:07:50] My own experience as a parent. And there were a lot of times where the teacher was saying, “If you have a child with this, don’t do that.” And I was doing that with my own kid. And at a certain point, I started to feel like, wow, I’m really messing up as a parent. And I started to kind of feel bad about myself, about how there were so many different ways that I wasn’t approaching Freya’s energy in a way that she really needed.
[00:08:21] And in fact, in some situations, I was doing the exact opposite. So I really started to kind of feel bummed out about myself. I mean, I was learning a lot and really, like, thinking about, okay, how can I do things better? Which I think was the point of the course. Not to beat yourself up, but to think about, how can I do things better?
[00:08:44] So I was in that mindset. But the very last video of the whole course was the teacher, who had five of her own children It was the very last video she shared authentically and deeply and vulnerably about her own story, and how she struggled with her own kids, and how she at times were, was doing exactly the opposite of what her kids needed.
[00:09:18] And when she told that story, I was like, “Oh, thank God.” It’s like I really needed that to know that I’m not the only one, and I, I know that. I’ve been coaching for years, and I, I know that. Like, I should’ve known that, but for some reason, I was really kind of approaching the whole class, like, beating myself up a little bit.
[00:09:44] But when I got to that last portion of the authentic story from the teacher, and I realized she didn’t have it all figured out, but yet she learned, and then she started to do better, which is kind of the whole point, I was like, “Ugh, okay, now I’m…” Something about her sharing her story opened me up to how I can really start doing better as a parent, not from beating myself up for where I’ve been, but setting myself up for greater success in the future, which is the whole point of all of this coaching and, uh, personal development work.
[00:10:21] What I wished she would have done is put that video first, the very first video of the whole training to be like, “Hey, look, some of you taking this course are parents yourself, and you’re gonna self-actualize in the course materials, and that’s normal. But here’s what I want you to know from my own experience, and here’s how I processed and learned and set myself up to do better.”
[00:10:53] And I’m even thinking about that in my own courses in Soul Blueprint. Look, I had a near-death experience. I have my spiritual gifts blown open, and then I went on a field of study for 15 years to really integrate what was offered to me and downloaded to me in my near-death experience, and I’m really here to offer it to you.
[00:11:13] But I’m sure I have my days where you, the listener, might think, “Oh boy, Allyson has, like, this superhighway to the divine, and she’s got everything figured out, and here I am, can barely hear my higher self. I’m second-guessing left and right. My energy’s all blocked up. I can’t manifest.” And so it made me realize that I, too, maybe need to share some of my stories of when I, you know, had my dark nights of the soul and when I absolutely didn’t have it all figured out and when I wasn’t hearing my higher self at all or second-guessing or falling on my face.
[00:11:51] Uh, those times where I just really kind of failed. And you might be thinking, “Oh, well, Allyson, you don’t need to tell those stories.” But I’m a six line in my human design profile. I just turned 50, so that means I’m just now moving into my third phase, my six line, where I’m becoming the role model. And how six line’s role model is not me telling you what to do, it’s me sharing my perspective and showing up in high expression of my energy, and I model it for you, or you just receive it how you receive it.
[00:12:29] It transmits to you what you need to receive, if anything, from my state of being. But if I’m sitting here like an influencer with my perfect little spiritual life, and I have my meditation routine, and then I download from my guides, and then, oh, I have a special relationship with my one spirit guide, and we’re just like the best buddies.
[00:12:51] And I clear my energy, and I’m just clear, clean, and high vibe every day. Oh my God, I’m so spiritually high vibe. I’m pretty sure that would make you want to vomit. I’m like vomiting a little bit just as I say it. So authentic stories. Sharing the good, sharing the bad, sharing the ugly, and sharing practical wisdom, sharing real transformation.
[00:13:22] That’s what people are moving towards. And let me tell you something With the dawn of AI We are getting more and more and more plugged into technology, and we are… our brain is getting more and more wired for small snippets and bursts of information, something like a two-minute Instagram reel. But to counterbalance that, and you really can counterbalance that, and we all need to start thinking about equalizing our brain.
[00:14:00] So as we’re getting these snippets and snippets and snippets of information from AI, we’re counterbalancing it with what? Long-form content. And what is long-form content? A podcast. You know, podcasts that are at least fifteen minutes long, offering you the opportunity for depth on a topic, offering you the opportunity to spend a few minutes thinking about it, integrating it, pondering it, what it means for you, most importantly.
[00:14:40] Other important media, books. Don’t stop reading. And if you’re not someone who loves to read, go for audiobooks. Books, books, books. I’d kind of taken a weird pause from reading, and I just, like, couldn’t read or didn’t wanna read or I, I don’t know what was going on. Something about me was blocked. Maybe it was by design or maybe it was a block.
[00:15:05] My higher self is saying a little bit of both. Um, I’ve just gotten back into books again. And it’s funny, I actually like to read. You know, I’ve got a defined head, a defined ajna. I like to read, like, have two to three books that I’m reading at a time. And I’m loving reading these books. I’m getting old books I read a long time ago, and I’m rereading them.
[00:15:26] And now, because I have all this more depth of experience and knowledge, I’m, like, integrating the knowledge inside the book at such a deeper level. Other long-form content that is going to be fantastic in the new era and is good for your brain is newsletters. Getting back to the old blog, you know, a nice juicy article in a newsletter or Substack.
[00:15:53] Classes, online classes. If you’re an audio learner like I am, online classes, check out Soul Blueprint, which is so much more than an online class. It is, uh, that’s one aspect of it, but it really is a deep and powerful transformational journey that I truly believe will put you on an entirely new path that will set you up for a new level of alignment and success for lifetimes to come.
[00:16:24] And lastly, conversations. Real, true conversations that you can have on various platforms about real Real topics. So this is this first and maybe most important aspect of the new era of marketing, depth outperforming shallow performance. The second aspect is human connection will become the premium experience because we can get loads and loads and loads of online and AI, and gosh, on social media, you never know if it actually is a human or even a bot anymore because there are a lot of bots on social media.
[00:17:06] Please do not forget that. And information is becoming so abundant that human connection is going to start becoming both precious and valuable. So people won’t be just looking for information. They’ll be looking for someone who sees them, understands them, and can help them apply the information they’re gathering to their unique situation.
[00:17:37] So a huge trend is going to be content that enables the reader or the listener to really feel held To feel nurtured, to feel seen, to feel heard. You know, in my Soul Blueprint program, I’m really upleveling the community aspect of it. And ironically enough, as I’ve run my past cohorts, because I spend so much time on the content and on the live classes itself, that sometimes I’d leave with the feeling of, ugh, I didn’t do enough to build the community because I just simply didn’t have the capacity to do it all.
[00:18:24] So I’ve always opted to, first and foremost, the best content I can possibly offer and the highest, most transformational live classes that anyone could participate in. Well, when I did the sort of wrap-up class for my last cohort, I was touched and surprised to hear how many people said that the community of Soul Blueprint was one of the things that just was going to stay with them.
[00:18:53] It was so transformational. It was so loving. It was so supportive. The word that often comes with each cohort that I run in Soul Blueprint is it’s a soul family. And that’s what I really try to create, this safe cocoon, nurtured space where you can feel truly seen, supported, and heard. So I said to myself, wow, this is happening and I haven’t even given it the time and attention that I think it really deserves.
[00:19:23] It’s just happening organically. What would happen if I doubled down on that? So for this cohort, I hired a community facilitator to help me with engaging in our community space to run some networking events that’s all about people just connecting with others and to facilitate other things with inside the community to really help it grow.
[00:19:49] And I can already see that this community facilitator is enabling that already powerful community feel to go to the next level. So I invite you to think about in your marketing content, but also in your offers, how can you really build that feeling of human-to-human connection, community, and really being in service to your audience so that they feel held, nurtured, seen, and heard?
[00:20:18] All right, the last point I’m gonna offer for this episode is that trust will become the new currency. And I’ve been in the online space for a very long time now, and I’ve heard for years about the know, like, trust factor. So when you have a lead magnet or an opt-in, you’re drawing people in with maybe s– let’s say an email automation series, and the purpose of that for brand-new leads is to build a know, like, trust factor.
[00:20:48] So we know this is a tenet that’s been around in marketing forever. But imagine that is going to be upleveled, and imagine that consumers are sophisticated now, and they can smell a rat if somebody in their know, like, trust sequence is not being fully honest, is not telling the whole story, is offering something shallow, is saying that they’re getting clients results that they’re not really getting or it’s exaggerated.
[00:21:24] Consumers are becoming sophisticated They are looking for offers and coaches and healers and practitioners who they really can trust. And one of the things that the astrologer told me which matches what we’re seeing happening now and what is matching what I was receiving intuitively is that guru culture will continue to break down because a lot of these gurus have a lot of questionable stuff happening around them, and the story that they’re presenting to us and the image is not the real story.
[00:22:12] And consumers are smelling that rat, if you will, using their intuitive sense of clairalience, which is your intuitive sense of smell, to smell that something isn’t right here. Consumers are becoming more discerning, and that’s a good thing for spiritual entrepreneurs because we are true. We are offering high-quality products.
[00:22:37] We are showing up in integrity. So the people who show up consistently in integrity and in service are the ones that are gonna get rewarded. That’s what the market is gonna want, and that’s who consumers will start to build a genuine trust with If you ever did take a know, like, trust factor email marketing course from five to seven years ago or ten to fifteen years ago, which I have done, you know, even when I look back at it, the way I was taught to build that sequence, it didn’t ever feel genuine.
[00:23:25] There was like a smoke and mirror to it. Like, you need to follow this template. You need to follow this formula. There are these consumer psychology hacks to hack into the brain of a consumer to get them to trust you fac-faster. That’s all fake. That’s not genuine trust. Genuine trust comes from following your spiritual gifts, following what’s in your heart to the people you feel called to serve at your highest, and really asking yourself, “What can I do or be to truly and honestly and deeply serve, hold, nurture my audience and my ideal clients today?”
[00:24:10] And as part of that, you know, keep building your email list. I’m such a big believer in email lists. Social platforms change, and a lot of psychics and astrologers are saying some of the big social media platforms are going to change. I am getting that too, psychically. I don’t know which one. I have an idea.
[00:24:34] I’m not gonna say right now, but it’s a big social media platform, and it’s gonna change. So if you’re building the entirety of your business on one social media platform, I really invite you to start to diversify. Diversify first if you don’t already have it by building your own mailing list. People who give you their email address with permission to market to them, those are your most valuable leads still statistically.
[00:25:03] Statistically, they are, like, five times more likely to buy from you than someone who finds you on, say, Instagram. And I’m not saying at all get off Instagram, stop selling on Instagram. I’m not saying that at all, at all. I’m saying if you aren’t already, diversify the different ways people can find you, and make sure as part of your plan, you have intention to keep building your email list.
[00:25:29] Because no matter what happens on the internet, that list can travel with you. All right, my dear ones, my invitation for you this week is to ask yourself, “How can I become more of a guide by your side in my marketing content and less of a performer or less of a doing what I see other people doing, and I think this may work for me even though it doesn’t feel great, and in a way to truly serve my audience?”
[00:26:05] So how can I become more of a guide by your side to deeply and authentically serve my audience in a way that builds genuine trust? And when you do that, you are gonna find a new level of alignment in your marketing. You are gonna find a new level of joy in your marketing. Marketing will feel less like a drag and will feel more like what it’s really intended to be, a layer of service to your audience, so they can get to know you, they can get to love you, and they can get to trust you, which leads them to wanting to invest in what it is you offer.
[00:26:48] That’s a wrap for this week, my dear ones, and as always, until next time, may you be soul alive If this episode stirred something deeper you’ll find a link to book a Soul Blueprint Connection Call in the show notes.
