In today’s episode, I reveal what a referral ripple is, how to kick one off, and the secret to sparking massive energetic momentum behind your ripple.

In part one, we talked about the importance of inviting in your spiritual gifts to access your full soul power. In part two, we explored how to tap into the transformation of the maximum results and, , value you create for your clients. And , in this episode, we’re exploring the referral ripple. What is a referral ripple that occurs when the results, transformation and connection you have with your clients and you get your clients is so massive.
[00:04:02] That it creates energetic momentum, so powerful that it has to get passed on to others. Now, there’s a variety of different ways your clients can pass that on. Maybe they pass it on in their work or with their loved ones. But one way they definitely can pass it on is by telling their network about you and your offers and how you changed their lives.
[00:04:28] So when your clients meet up with their friends for coffee, they’ll be raving about all the ways that your offers change their life. And then those friends get so inspired by this transformational energy that they spread the word. To their friends and on and on. And before you know it, your offers are going viral by word of mouth.
[00:04:50] This is really the future of marketing. Especially for soul guided entrepreneurs who are not interested in staying on top of the latest trends and algorithms and ads. Most. Of the Soul Guide entrepreneurs I know started their business because they longed for deep human to human connection.
[00:05:12] They long to deeply serve their clients. They long to create a big impact on humanity. So why not take those things that you’re longing for anyway and design your marketing strategy around it? And that’s what we’re doing when we create. Big referral buzz. And so creating that buzz starts with kicking off a ripple, kicking off the energetic momentum, and you start simply.
[00:05:43] Always really the best place to start. Anytime you wanna get something going is with an intention, and I’m gonna offer you an intention to say with me today, and I invite you to go ahead and use these words or find an intention that feels really right for you. So when I save my intentions, I like to start with some deep belly breaths, and of course, I love to pivot my awareness down and start to sink into the body.
[00:06:11] And then just connect to the heart space, the heart energy at the center of the chest. Ah, and you feel yourself raising your vibrations, creating space. And then set the intention to connect to your higher self. And from that spacious, aligned, , energy, simply kick off an intention, such as I intend to kickstart a referral ripple.
[00:06:38] Okay. I intend to support my clients in getting results so big that they’re naturally inspired and excited to talk about my services to the right friends and connections who are an ideal match for my offers. And that magnetic energy and transformation ripples out and on and on to the very people who need my offers the most.
[00:07:03] That very intention can be found in the PDF guide associated with big referral buzz. And really once you set that intention, it’s about how can I align to this intention?
[00:07:26] How can I align my thoughts, feelings, and actions to really consciously create this intention and really consciously create referral based sole clients arriving into my offers. Well, two ways to put inspired action. Behind your intention, and it’s really one of the secrets to sparking massive energetic momentum behind your ripple is two different strategies in your business.
[00:07:56] They may sound simple, you’ve probably thought about them before, but I wonder if you’ve really ever. Really thought about them and really put the right amount of inspired action behind these two strategies. The first strategy to help your referral ripple grow is incentives, offering incentives to your current clients and your current network for passing the word on about you and your offers.
[00:08:25] I know it sounds simple, but I’m gonna ask you right now, how often do you think about incentives? I have a hunch not that often. So this is the opportunity to brainstorm the various ways you can incentivize people passing the word about you. So here are some different examples. You can tell your current client list that you’ll give them a juicy reward for each new client they refer to you. Now, with that strategy, you’re always gonna wanna make sure to get permission from your new clients to give the referer a reward. Because if you’re giving the Referer, the person who referred them a reward, that means you’re disclosing the fact that they’re.
[00:09:11] Working with you, or they bought one of your offers. If you are in the business that provides confidentiality to your clients, you just wanna give them permission and say, Hey, I understand that you found me through Susie. I would love to give Susie a gift for referring you to me. Is that okay? If they say yes, great.
[00:09:35] And if they say no, that’s great. It’s okay. Confidentiality always comes first, but I find when I ask that question, almost nobody says no. And I wanna make sure that I’m not putting people on the spot. So, you know, people feel like they have to say yes. No, just be very open and clear with your energy. Is this okay?
[00:09:54] If it’s okay, great. And if it’s not okay, equally great. Another thing you can do, and I find this strategy to be very successful in my own business, is offer your clients a high value gift for writing you a testimonial or a review. Look, even your most satisfied clients are busy people, and they’re gonna forget to write you a testimonial even if you ask for it.
[00:10:20] But if you offer them a juicy gift for writing a testimonial, they are gonna get highly motivated, very fast. And testimonials are just another way of generating referral buzz. It’s people talking about how your offers change their lives, and it’s something that you can just put in your social feeds, something you can put on your website.
[00:10:44] And look, there’s lots and lots of testimonials out there, and most of us are kind of wary of testimonials because they can be fake or they can be, . Hyped or all sorts of things. So it’s always a good idea when you’re collecting testimonials to take screenshots. Can you take a screenshot of an email or a social post or a Voxer message, and this really brings to life the authenticity of this social proof that your offers get people results.
[00:11:16] You can also offer freebie to anyone who subscribes to one of your social platforms and comments on a post. If you have free things that you give your audience, make them pay for it, if you will, in terms of subscribing and commenting so you can get some more traction and action going on your social feeds.
[00:11:35] Lastly, and I think this is a super important thing to explore if you don’t already have one, is consider starting an affiliate program so that your clients can earn a commission on each new sale or lead. They send you. Look, it may sound sort of complicated or difficult to set up, but it’s really not.
[00:11:53] For example, I use Thrive Cart, which is. For my payment processing, which is a pretty inexpensive platform, and they have a great referral, , management software that’s part of it. So you can just sign up for something like a Thrive Cart, and then all you have to do is just let your current clients or your network or your peers know, Hey, look, I have this offer going.
[00:12:17] , Here’s some copy that talks about it. , And for each sale or new lead you get, you get a percentage of commission. You know affiliate programs are really win-win both for you and for the affiliate who’s earning some extra money from spreading the word about your offers. The second secret to getting some nice energetic momentum behind your referral ripple is partnering.
[00:12:45] Oh my gosh. I keep learning the lesson over and over again that I need to put more apples, more of my apples of my business into the basket of partnering. ’cause every time I do it, I get such incredibly massive results and that’s when I get the absolute best, most high value referral based sole clients just dropping into my business.
[00:13:10] So partnering is simply the process of collaborating with a peer or a client or an organization to achieve a mutual goal or benefit. And so when you’re thinking about partnering, there are some important factors to consider to find the right partners because.
[00:13:30] Partnering requires the right partners. So there’s a real energetic match in synchronicity. Most importantly, and this may be obvious, but I gotta say it, make sure you have the same target audience. So you’re looking for partners who have the same target audience as you, but you don’t offer the exact same thing, right?
[00:13:51] So maybe you’re a healer and you have a certain type of healing modality. Find peers. Or organizations or different platforms out there who also have a target of helping people heal, but in a different way. And your healing is complimentary to their healing and it’s adding value to each other. So like for example, in my own business,
[00:14:16] I partner, from time to time with a peer who helps people essentially amplify their spiritual gifts, which is what I do. But she does it in a really different way than me. I can’t even really describe how it’s just.
[00:14:29] She just has a different way to do it. But if you enrolled in SO Blueprint, for example, and then enrolled in one of her programs, I just think that the end result would be just you with super duper amplified gifts.
[00:14:44] It’s almost like, you know, there’s the whole pie of learning how to use your spiritual gifts. And my God, think of all the different things that could go inside of that pie. And we’re each taking different slices, but the pie is the exact same flavor, and when you eat it, you get the same amount of satisfaction.
[00:15:03] So if you can find peers that are complimentary and with the same audience, but it’s not so similar that there’s this tension and this competition, so you definitely want to avoid that. We’re looking for same audience, but also an energetic harmony to it.
[00:15:20] Also important. You need to make sure the relationship is mutually beneficial. So on your end, you’re neither overgiving in the relationship or under giving. So if you wanna partner with someone who has a bigger audience than you, that’s awesome and amazing. I totally encourage you to do that. I partner all the time with coaches that have a much larger audience than I do.
[00:15:46] And I’m able to successfully do that because I sell what it is I offer. I say to them, Hey, look, I have a smaller audience than you, but I have a very bespoke audience. I have a very high click rate. I have a very high, , open rate. I have, a really strong bond with my audience. So, if I encourage them to go out and explore your program, they’re highly likely to say yes.
[00:16:11] . So while I am a smaller audience, I really sell to them how I am value added to their larger audience. Lastly, you just wanna make sure that you feel energetically aligned and in sync with your partner. Do you feel intuitively like it’s a match and you typically can just feel it in the body if it feels light and freeing and high vibe?
[00:16:33] It’s a good partner match, potentially, but you never know until you tip your toes in the water. But if it feels heavy and yucky and like, Ugh, this doesn’t feel right, that’s probably an indication that you’re being called to look elsewhere. Examples of different ways to partner are to do a lead magnet or opt-in exchange whereby you promote each other’s lead magnet to your respective audiences.
[00:16:58] A guest exchange whereby you add value to each other’s audience, such as a podcast guest exchange. Or other platform, a teacher guest exchange whereby you teach a class or offer insights or expertise inside each other’s programs or memberships. And certainly you can just pitch yourself, and I highly recommend you do this and do this often.
[00:17:22] Pitch yourself to be a guest speaker on the various podcasts, YouTube channels, tiktoks Summits, conferences and stages. Serve your target audience. The nice thing about this proliferation, on social media of different content is there’s a lot more different platforms for you to speak into and to get your message out and to talk about your offers, but it really gets down to pitching yourself.
[00:17:50] Unfortunately, you know, listen, I’m a projector. My strategy is to wait for the invitation, and I do do that. However, when it comes to finding stages, I do get invitations for sure. For various stages, and I love that. And when they arrive, I receive them with so much gratitude. But so often I find that I have to create my own stages.
[00:18:13] I can still follow my human design strategy and be successful, but I am the one out there pitching. I’m the one out there looking. I’m the one out there building the stage for myself so that I can get my messages out. And that’s how I find I am the most. Successful sitting around waiting, even with my strategy, doesn’t work in the long term
[00:18:37] Instead, you wanna start?
[00:18:39] Promoting, promoting, promoting yourself, and seeing all the different ways you can get yourself and your message and your offers in front of new and excited audiences.
