Owning the Bigness of Your Unique Spiritual Genius

[00:00:00] Hello, my dear ones. How are we doing on this fine spring day? I live in the Hague and the sun is out, little chilly, but the weather is supposed to turn cold again. A spring possible snow. Oh no, I am ready for the warm weather. I am ready for sunshine. I’m ready to get the cushions out for my outdoor furniture in my back garden

[00:00:27] and sit out there. My dog Astrid is sort of cat-like, she’s a dog that acts like a cat and she loves to lay in the sun, like loves, loves. Her breed actually originates from Egypt. So, they’re kind of desert dogs and they have a very, very thin coat. So, you know, cold, rainy weather is just not her cup of tea whatsoever.

[00:00:51] And she absolutely loves the sun. It just, she turns into a different dog. So, she is so excited for those cushions to come out. It’s not quite warm enough yet there’s not quite enough sunlight in our back garden for cushions, but we’re getting there. Although if there’s a spring snow coming up, then it will prolong our ceremonial

[00:01:14] return of our outdoor furniture cushions. And we’re not here to talk about cushions today. We’re here to talk about our unique spiritual gifts, our unique genius, those unique abilities we were born to share, the gifts inside of us that when we’re really honest with ourselves, we know, and we feel just how big they really are.

[00:01:40] And it can be scary. We can second guess the hell out of it. We can waffle from owning them to denying them. And this episode is really inspired by my clients because this is something I’ve seen so often with my clients. And I kept saying to myself, I have to do a podcast episode on this. I just see it too often.

[00:02:04] So if it’s happening with my clients, it’s got to be happening with the wider community. And certainly, I’ve experienced this also for myself. It can be really challenging to own our truth and own the bigness of our unique spiritual gifts and genius. And our mind can really trip us up on this one. And I’m going to be explaining exactly how our mind does that

I’m really excited to unpack this topic with you today because as I mentioned earlier, I really, really, really do hear this a lot. And I’m going to tell you exactly what I hear consistently from clients about their gifts.

[00:06:16] There’s a waffling that occurs. And at first, they come to me and say, well, I, I know my inner knowing is telling me I have these massive gifts inside of me, and I’m being called to share them with my clients and my audience and the world. But how could my gifts be so big? Who am I to think that my unique gifts are so massive?

[00:06:42] So once we work through that and we start releasing the energy blocks and rewriting the thoughts and getting to the truth that your gifts are really that big. Then all of a sudden, we switch into this, the mind plays this trick. Well, who are you to think that your gifts are better, are so big and that your better, your mind will equate bigness to better?

[00:07:12] And then my clients are saying, oh, I have these big gifts, but I don’t want to come across that I’m better than other people. I don’t feel like I’m better, but yet I know my gifts are so big. So, it leaves them in a bit of a quandary. I want to confidently own my gifts, but at the same time, I don’t want to leave anyone with the impression that I think I’m better.

[00:07:34] So, what do we do in these situations? Well, here is what we do. We go to the truth. You always go to the truth. When you want to solve any problem, the truth will always set you free. And the truth is you do have unique gifts you were born to share. You have both spiritual gifts, and you have a unique genius.

[00:07:57] What’s the difference? Our spiritual gifts are how we interact with the spiritual realm, how we connect to higher self, Source, spirit guides to bring down wisdom and insights and downloads and creativity and using that wisdom to create, to serve others, to be in expression of your gifts. Okay. And our unique genius kind of brings it all together.

[00:08:26] I include our spiritual gifts as part of our unique genius, and I define our genius as those unique abilities you are born to share. And our genius, our gifts stay with us from lifetime to lifetime. So, they just get deeper and deeper and more powerful, more powerful. And we haven’t had our gifts since we were born.

[00:08:49] We’ve had our gifts for hundreds, thousands, hundreds of thousands, millions of lifetimes, depending on your soul path. And with each lifetime, we express our gifts differently. But the blueprint of our gifts travels with us from lifetime to lifetime. And with each lifetime we experience we’re adding new layers

[00:09:13] in complexity and depth to that blueprint. And I want to share with you right now, a frustration I have with Hollywood, with Disney, with Marvel and this superhero culture we live in. My gosh, do we like, you know, generally speaking, the collective really likes a superhero film. You know, Disney likes to

[00:09:37] create films where the protagonist has some sort of magical power. And what that does is it teaches us that there are the haves and the have-nots, the superheroes have the gifts and the rest of us rely on the superheroes to save us. And I see it with my daughter Freya. She’s one of the little girls who is growing up in the Frozen era, where she loves Elsa.

[00:10:07] And she’ll say to me, mama, why don’t I have powers like Elsa? The other day, she convinced me to get her this frozen magazine and inside the magazine, there was this wand. So, I broke down, bought her the magazine, we got home, she opened it up and realized that the wand was just a cheap piece of plastic because she thought that it had real magical powers.

[00:10:32] And she was so disappointed, and we just teach our kids that, you know, some people have the power and others don’t. Some people have superhero, magical abilities and others don’t. And I try to teach Freya, listen, our superpowers are inside of us, but they don’t look like you see in a movie, they don’t look like Elsa’s ice powers, but you have superpowers in you.

[00:11:02] You are a superhero to your people. There’s a group of people out there that need your abilities. They need your power. So, we’re all superheroes. We all have magic inside of us. We all have superhero abilities and our challenge, our invitation is to own our gifts, own the magic that’s inside of us. And I think one thing that will trip up most of us, maybe all of us is finding the right words to define our unique gifts.

[00:11:37] And it’s important to really understand that no words will ever perfectly describe something that goes beyond words. It’s your energy frequency. It’s your being, it’s your truth. It’s the truth of who you are. So, what’s more important than finding the words is feeling into the frequency of your genius.

[00:12:01] And I do that simply by taking deep breaths, going to the heart space, and just setting the attention to feel into my spiritual gifts, feel into my unique genius. Spend time there just feeling into it. What do I notice? And when I do that, I’m just going to share with you how I define my unique genius, stroke, spiritual gifts, and maybe this will serve as an inspiration for you.

[00:12:28] And I want you to know that I’ve been working on this for years. I’ve hired a number of coaches to help me with this. And I, myself am a coach that helps people discover their unique gifts. So, if this sounds like a nice little definition it’s because I’ve been working on it for years. And so, I am a soul guide and high soul strategist.

[00:12:53] I am a soul guide who helps Lightworkers to one call up, clarify and heal the key elements of their soul DNA and contracts. Two, assemble these key elements, to create a vision for the future that clarifies their soul’s highest purpose and three, bring this highest truest, most aligned soul vision into their experience.

[00:13:19] So you see I’ve worked on that for years and as I read it, it just feels really good. It, it doesn’t feel 100% accurate because the words will never give you 100% accuracy, but you’ll notice I have two definitions I go to and the second one was a bit more specific, and I feel like that’s how I really apply my gifts in my business.

[00:13:44] Which is a good thing to explore. Like how do I specifically want to express my gifts in my business? But I think in terms of how I just show up in life and how I express my gifts in all aspects of my life, it’s simply, I’m a soul guide. I am a soul guide. And when I feel into that, I feel like there’s just so much inside of that.

[00:14:09] Like, there’s so many abilities, there’s so many different ways I could express that. My genius could go right or left or up or down. I could plug it into a thousand different outlets and express it a thousand completely different ways. And that’s the true essence of our unique gifts. It’s not just about, we have one gift that we express one way.

[00:14:34] We have a rich, rich gift that is part of a very complex blueprint, and we can express that gift an infinite number of ways. So, if you haven’t done this before, try to define your gifts. I invite you to do so and find the words that feel good, always know that it’ll never tell the full story of the depth of your gifts.

[00:15:03] However, find the words that help trigger the energy frequency. And that’s what we want to do. Feeling the energy frequency helps us to own the truth of the bigness of our gifts because the energy frequency is real, and we can feel it. And when we’re tapped into our inner knowing, our inner knowing will tell us clearly from our higher self, that this is the truth of who you are.

[00:15:35] You have these amazing abilities inside you, that your soul clients, your loved ones, the people, the close people in your circle need from you, want from you, need from you. And that really is the true secret behind owning the bigness of our gifts. And that is spending more and more time mindfully connecting to the energy frequency of our gifts.

[00:16:03] Being in the heart space, any time you want to create for your audience, for your soul clients, just take a few breaths, drop into the heart space, and set the intention to connect to your unique gifts. What is it that your unique gifts are calling you to share? Who are your unique gifts calling you to be?

[00:16:27] How can you do it? How can you create it? How can you be it? And this moment as I’m dropped into my gifts, I’m receiving the message of model, you know, just model being in expression of your gifts, which I am doing in this moment. I don’t have any notes in front of me. I have my eyes closed. I am dropped into my heart space, and this is just flowing through me.

[00:16:57] And because we’ve been so socially conditioned to, on so many levels on this topic that if you do own your gifts, that’s bragging. That’s thinking that you’re better than others. There are superheroes out there. They’re the ones that have the gifts. You know, the famous, we have a culture of celebrity worship here in the collective.

[00:17:21] So we worship the celebrities. They’re the haves but we’re the have nots. And that’s just not true. That’s an illusion. The truth is we’re all born with gifts. So, let’s move into how we keep the ego in check when it comes to gifts, knowing that we’ve had all this social conditioning, we’ve seen these movies we’ve been told when we were children by authority figures that we’re not good enough.

[00:17:46] And we’ve taken these on to be truth, even though they’re not. So, you can look at it this way. There are likely listeners of this podcast. And I actually personally know a few that are painters, they’re artists, and not only do they paint for others, they teach others how to paint and for these individuals,

[00:18:04] and if it’s you, painting is an amazing, beautiful way for you to be an expression of your unique gifts. Although painting’s not the only way, there are an infinite number of other ways for you to express your gifts. And additionally, pretty much any person out there could pick up a paintbrush and start painting.

[00:18:26] Most of us could probably paint something that actually doesn’t look half bad. Painting is one thing that is literally accessible to almost anyone. I mean, even if you can’t move your arms, there’s computer technology out there now that enable people to paint. Let’s just go with the assumption, anybody can pick up a brush and paint, but that doesn’t mean painting is a good expression for their unique gifts.

[00:18:51] And I see this a lot with my clients who are healers or intuitives they say, well, I have this connection to source, but I don’t want people to think that I think my connection to source is any better than their connection. And it’s not, it’s not better. But it is likely bigger. Just like some people are meant to paint and sell their artwork and teach others to paint.

[00:19:17] And others are meant to be open channels and teach people how to connect to higher self, the angelic realm, source. Some of us do have more open, intuitive gifts and being in expression of those open, intuitive gifts, those open spiritual gifts is a beautiful way for us to be an expression of our genius.

[00:19:40] So yeah, everybody has access to their higher self, source, spirit guides in the same way everybody has access to paint brushes, but that doesn’t mean everyone is meant to teach that, be an expression of that, build a business around it. So, if you are an intuitive or a healer, own your gifts and know that you’re here to teach and guide and lead, not from a place of you’re better just from a place of your gifts are always going to be bigger, just like the person to your right

[00:20:15] and the person to your left is also going to have gifts that are bigger, that you might need. Right? So our gifts are always designed to be in service to other people. And when we find our people, our soul audience, our soul clients, our gifts are going to fit like a perfect puzzle piece to their pains and their desires.

[00:20:39] So if you come to me for example, to, for one-on-one session and I become your soul guide for that hour. Yeah, in that moment, my gifts, my gifts of being a soul guide are going to be bigger. It’s never to say that I know more. I mean, nobody knows more about your soul path than you and your connection to higher self, but I, as your soul guide will enable you to connect more deeply to your higher self.

[00:21:06] So you can eventually live a more powerful soul guided life. And in return, if I were to hire you for something. There would be a gift you have that would be way, way bigger than my gift of that in that category that I would need from you. So, it’s never about better. It’s just about owning the bigness of who we are and who we’re here to serve.

[00:21:31] And those people will start to find us. And when your thoughts come in to give you some version of this story, who are you to think your gifts are so big and or who are you to thank your gifts are better? Just notice that. That is coming straight from the collective it’s coming straight from our wounds.

[00:21:52] It is an illusion. Notice how those thoughts make you feel. Go into those emotions. Feel those emotions for 60 to 90 seconds. Take some deep breaths to release and go back to the heart space and ask your higher self, what is the truth about my unique gifts? But when I ask my heart space, that question in this moment, I’m going to share with you the answer I received, because it’s also a message of truth for you.

[00:22:28] Your spiritual gifts, your unique genius truly is

[00:22:37] truly is your truth. It’s the truth of why you’re here. It’s the truth of what you’re meant to leave behind as you leave this lifetime, it is here to be owned with grace, ease and confidence, and it is here to serve your people, your soul audience, and the planet. And when you drop into the heart space, drop into the body and connect with that,

[00:23:11] it will always always guide you back to the truth about who you are and what you’re here to do and be.

[00:23:24] Alright, my dear ones, I leave you today with this invitation. I invite you to take deep breaths, pivot down to the heart space and connect to your unique gifts, ask your gifts, what message of truth does your gifts have for you today and what your gifts are calling you to do and what your gifts are calling you to be.
