Activate Your Genius Inside Your Lab of Creativity

In last week’s post, I wrote about how to gain new levels of self-mastery.

This week I want to reveal a secret to accelerating your path towards self-mastery.

The secret is CREATING.

By creating I mean – using your unique genius to create from the heart for the people you feel called to serve.

But sometimes it’s hard to know what our unique genius is or what we’re being called to create.

This puts us in a stuck energy that actually thwarts our ability to take action and manifest our dreams.

So if you ever feel muddled or unclear about what your heart is calling you to create, then it’s time to step into your lab of creativity to experiment.

You see, when you treat your creative process as a big experiment, it takes the pressure off you, it ignites your curiosity, and helps to get your creative juices flowing.

Here’s how to get started in 3 powerful questions…

FIRST, take some deep breaths and connect to your heart space, and ask your heart: 

1️⃣ “What are you calling me to create?”

Perceive what you receive coming back as an answer from your heart.

When I recently asked this question, I received the answer: 

“You are being called to ignite your inner storyteller – to share your personal stories and experiences in a way that’s in service to others.”

In my Human Design, I have Gate 56 defined – which is the Gate of the Wandering Storyteller. I am designed to tell stories from my many adventures in ways that inspire, delight, and empower others.

For so long, however, I held back on my storytelling because I held the belief that: “Talking about myself is selfish and BRAGGING.”

This comes directly from childhood when I was often told that I was “too much.”

So if I regale you with stories from my exploits, it would be TOO MUCH.

When I released this wound, I realized that I want to shift my podcast and this blog to have more of a storytelling vibe to it.

This brings me to the SECOND question I invite you to ask your heart:

2️⃣ “How do I ignite my unique genius in this creation?”

So in my example, I’m feeling called to be a heart-led storyteller in service to you, and when I ask my heart: “How does storytelling clarify my unique genius?”

This is what I receive: 

“Storytelling is the perfect medium to ignite your genius of deeply penetrating into the auras of others to give them something they need on a soul level. Your storytelling will give those you feel called to serve the spark, insight, or inspiration to grow to the next level.”

And the THIRD question is:

3️⃣ “What am I being called to create in the next 24 hours?”

This is about getting energetic momentum behind your creative process TODAY.

In my case, I have four podcast episodes due in 48 hours, and for each of the episodes, I plan to show up as the true storyteller I’m feeling called to be in highest service to you.

Here’s what I really want you to know…

You have a POWERFUL unique genius inside of you that is designed to truly change the life of others.

The people you serve will then go on to serve others, and it creates a ripple effect of love, healing, kindness, and connection throughout the planet.

This ripple effect is more powerful than you realize, and you are a ripple creator.

The way to fully embrace your role as ripple creator is by stepping into your lab of creativity to experiment with what your heart is calling you to create today.
