Ep #57: Infusing Guidance from Spirit Guides into Your Sales Process

From my spirit guides, you may have heard, you know, the veil is getting thinner as we go into 2021. And the connection from the physical and non-physical realm is getting stronger for those who ask for it.
And for those who invite that in, and what that is creating is incredibly exciting opportunity, especially for those who are running a soul guided business that isn’t service to people on the planet. This opportunity is here. And so today we’ll be talking about how to give three key aspects of sales, a zap of spirituality by infusing guidance.
From your higher self and spirit guides. There’s a huge message I’ve been [00:01:00] getting consistently from my guides lately. And that is this: “we spirit guides want to connect to you. We want to help you make your business prosperous.” Yes, they do. And we want it to feel more aligned and ease full. And I say the word easeful, because guides aren’t here to make anything easy.
Cause, uh, you know, there is discomfort. That’s always associated with growth, so it’s not about making it easy, but it is about making it ease full, aligned, in flow, energizing, exciting, inspiring. So in today’s episode, we’ll be talking about how to call in this type of guidance specifically into three parts of your sales process.
I’ll explain what sales gurus mean when they say sales is just all math and how your spirit guides can help you call in just the right [00:02:00] and aligned numbers for you and your business. We’ll end on a challenge that we’ll have you calling in details and downloads from your spirit guides that you can incorporate into your business each and every day.

Using spiritual tools to say, grow a business, it can feel vague and it can feel wishy-washy and it can feel like, you know, the spiritual realm you’re in the fifth dimensional higher vibrational non-physical space. And it can feel difficult to take that down into the third dimensional, which is a lower vibration physical vibration.
And that is the space or many of us meet our clients for the first time. And by clients, I mean, Prospective clients, our prospects. We usually encounter them in that third dimensional space. So that’s why if you’re running a business, you have to know, or you have to be familiar with some 3d elements of your business.
And that’s really gonna help you to grow, [00:04:00] but the fun and exciting thing is if you are a spiritual entrepreneur is to infuse those spiritual elements, those fifth dimensional, spiritual elements into those 3d sales processes, for example, and that’s what we’re going to be focused on today. And the three parts of the sales process, we’ll be focusing on specifically and talking about how to infuse guidance from higher self and spirit guides into those parts.
And the decisions you have to make about them are leads. Conversions and pricing. And before we get into that, you may have heard sales and marketing people. Those who are very focused on 3d sales and marketing and online marketing say to you, it’s all math sales and marketing is all math. So if you’ve adjusted your numbers, you’re going to call in the results that you want to call into your business.
Now there’s a lot of different ways to do [00:05:00] math for your business, but most of them, when they say that are referring to the numbers associated with leads, conversions and pricing and how you can change those numbers to call in the results you want to call into your business, the money you want to bring in the audience you want to grow to, et cetera.
So let’s unpack this a bit. What is a lead? A leader first to contact with a potential customer, also known as a prospect. So those people who may hire you, they are leads. And it’s really important that you’re always getting a number of leads in your door. It’s essentially your ability to get in front of your ideal audience, they’re all leads.
They’re all people you want to turn into a customer. The second key element, we’ll be talking about is conversions. So for example, let’s say [00:06:00] you are calling leads in to discovery calls with you. And in those discovery calls, you have a sales conversation. So let’s say you call in 10 people to discovery calls and half of them.
Become clients. So your conversion rate is 50%. That means the percentage of the prospects that become clients or that buy from you. That’s your conversion rate. And lastly is pricing. That’s obviously how much you’re charging for your product or service. So, if you want to be making $5,000 a month or $10,000 a month or a hundred thousand dollars a month, those are the three things that I invite you to look at for you to get those financial results.
And it’s important to do that. I know a lot of soul guided entrepreneurs I work with, they’ll say. Well, I want to work for, like, I want to call in, let’s say $5,000 a month consistently. Okay. That’s a great goal. What, you know, what is the [00:07:00] plan to do that? And they normally just don’t know, they don’t have a plan.
They just know that’s what they want to call in. And this is a great way to align to that number goal, and you want to align the number of leads you call in the percentage, your conversion percentage and how much you charge. And if you align those three numbers to $5,000, you will call it in consistently each and every month.
And the more you do it, the more consistent you get and what, what gets tricky with anybody who runs a business is, well, once you start consistently bringing in $5,000 a month, normally you’re ready for $10,000 a month because you are already, you know, your containers always growing. You are growing, you are valuable, you are worth a lot of money.
Your products and services are valuable. So I think it’s a beautiful thing to want to call in more income and abundance for the incredible value [00:08:00] you’re producing in the world. So when your goal goes from 5,000 a month to 10,000 a month, what do you gotta do? You gotta adjust your leads, your conversions and your pricing.
And like, you know, the guru say, this is when sales really gets down to math. And when you figure the math out, you get the results you want to bring in and you can do it with relative predictability. Okay. So how can spirit guides help you with leads, conversions and pricing? Well, you’re in the right place because I’m going to tell you let’s start with leads.
This is an important one. We are wired on a soul level to grow. Our soul always wants to be growing. And I believe our business is an extension of our soul and our business always wants to be growing. So that means we always want to be getting in front of new audience members, new folks, calling in new people into our world who [00:09:00] are a perfect fit for our products and services.
So how do we call in leads? Right. The million dollar question. Well, it gets down to two ways paid and unpaid. You can pay for leads through advertising, and I definitely recommend it. Some point in your journey to growing your business. You look into that and it doesn’t mean Facebook ads. It can, but there’s a lot of different ways to pay for advertising.
There’s local advertising, which can be a really good strategy depending on what you’re offering. There’s Google ads, Instagram ads. There’s a lot of different ways that you can pay for advertising. And then there’s the non-paid way. Now, let me tell you something about trying to get leads, the good old fashioned organic way.
Absolutely nothing wrong with it. But please understand that social media algorithms are changing all the time and with every [00:10:00] change, it often results in this. Organic content is getting harder and harder to be seen. And the reason why is because they want you to pay them to get your content in front of more people. They’re running a business, it’s annoying, but it’s just a fact of life.
So I hear it often from my clients that they get frustrated that they’re putting content out on social media that no one is reacting to. So I will say, did you put any money behind it? Did you boost it or run an ad? They say no. And I say, well, this is normal. You could be writing content that will light the world on fire.
And it’s really hard for that content to go viral these days. Just relying on organic algorithms alone unless, you already have a large and very active audience. It’s not even just a large audience. It’s a large and active [00:11:00] audience which helps with algorithm placement. It is very, very hard for content, no matter how good it is to be seen by lots of people, unless you put some money behind it.
So, if you do want to grow your business, if you do see yourself growing, it is a good time investment for you to start to play around with ads. I always say, start with a small budget, start with experimenting and just give yourself permission to learn. Give yourself lots of permission to fail, because that’s what basically, for example, Facebook ads is just a series of failures until you find something that is sort of succeeding and then that’s the formula that you want.
But I can’t give you the formula, the formula for you comes after lots and lots of testing. And the other thing I say to people is do it yourself. Until you get a modicum of success and you’ve sort of figured it out. And at that point, if you really, really don’t like [00:12:00] doing it, hire someone else to do it three to five hours a month.
It won’t cost you that much. If that person is good at what they do, they should be able to help you get enough leads in to cover that investment. In them, they should be able to get you results into your business that covers their salary. And before we move on from that, I just want to say, if you want to go the organic route, it is very possible and it can be very successful.
What will be required of you is just time. And that is when you’ll be doing a lot of human to human marketing. So what that means is. You are active on different Facebook groups. You are commenting people. You are asking people like, for example, in social media, you’re engaging with them on social media and then asking them if they want to have a conversation offline or you’re sending them direct messages.
I’ve done a few great episodes that explore human, human marketing. I specifically draw [00:13:00] you to episodes 36 39 and 43. And those links are in the show notes and a great way to approach human to human marketing is not from a place of well, how can I call in people I can sell to. But how can I add value to people’s lives?
How can I contribute and be in service? So if you join a closed Facebook group, instead of finding the first opportunity to sell something, start by asking the question, how can I best contribute to this group? How can I best add value and just start doing that? Without any sales and just think about focus on connection.
And as you focus on that connection, people are going to notice you and people will probably engage with you. And then it’s about engaging back. And then when you feel like that lead or that prospect is warm enough, that they would want to go to the next step with you, then you can say, Hey, would you like to have a conversation offline?
[00:14:00] Would you like to have a coffee talk, you know, virtual coffee chat and just build the relationship slowly, slowly, slowly until you feel like you’ve got their permission. Like they’re interested enough in you and your products and services that you could get their permission to. Pitch to them and say, Hey, it’s been great talking to you.
And I noticed you have this struggle. Well, I have this thing. That’s perfect for it. Can I tell you about it? You always want to get their permission. You always want to ask that question. Can I tell you about it? Can I share? They say yes. And off you go into your, your pitch pitching your products. So I will tell you right now, human to human marketing is how I went from a trickle of clients to fully booked.
It, I did not get there through Facebook ads alone. I’ll tell you that. My first several, my experience with Facebook ads for a long time was one of great failure, but I didn’t give up on Facebook ads and [00:15:00] I continued to use them and learn. And now I have a Facebook ad strategy that’s very successful. So let’s get back to guides.
How can guides help us with all of this? We’ll simply start by asking and you can ask us of higher self and guides, you know, higher self is good to go to for big strategy of your life. Your higher self is always your first voice for the big questions, the bigger strategy, and then spirit guides come in with details and downloads.
So my process to connecting in is four parts, deep breaths, deep breaths, deep breaths. Pivot down to the heart space. Step two, ask the questions of higher self from the heart space, with your awareness on your heart space or spirit guides and or both, and then allow answers in by allowing you to just notice what you see here, sense or know to be coming back.
And if you’re not sure you take your [00:16:00] best guess. You act on it, you act on their guidance that you perceive to be receiving, and then notice how it goes. Notice if it felt the line or if it felt aligned and that will help build your trust to your higher self and your guides. So back to leads, deep breaths, deep breaths, pivot down to the heart space, ask your higher self and your guides.
Should I be doing human to human marketing? Should I be more focused on human to human marketing right now? Start with the, yes, no questions. It’s the easiest way to get guidance. Yes. Okay. Should I be focused on Facebook ads right now? No. So, I mean right there, your higher self and guides will answer those questions for you.
Do you know how much time and money it will save you? If your guides are telling you now is not the right time to be focused on Facebook ads. Do you see? I mean, imagine that enormous rabbit hole they are [00:17:00] preventing you from going down just by one question. Is it human to human or paid advertising ask?
Yes. No. Okay. So let’s say they’re guiding you towards human to human H to H. All right. Guides. Should I hang out in Facebook? No Instagram? Yes. Okay. Another huge rabbit hole of Facebook ads. I’m just giving you examples of how it can look. So you focus in H 2 H in Instagram saves you an enormous amount of time.
Okay. So now you’re an Instagram, huh? Okay, so this is a more open-ended questions. And this you want to like connect in also to your ideal client, avatars energy, higher self spirit guides connecting and at the heart space. Ask the question. Ideal audience, ideal client avatar. What do you most need from me right now?
What do I feel most called to share? Where will my voice add the most value [00:18:00] to someone’s life? Notice what you’re getting back. Notice the nudges, notice what you’re getting called to share, share it. Sometimes you’re going to be called to share something scary. It’s going to feel uncomfortable, but that’s natural growth calling you to be bigger, truer,
More authentic. And the more you do this, the stronger your connections will be to your spiritual support team. So if you’re thinking, Oh, I’m not Intuit enough to do this. This is nice, Allyson, but I’m just not intuitive enough. That’s not true. You were born. We were all born with intuitive gifts. It’s just a process.
You have to go to the gym. You’re going to the spiritual gym, and you’re going to work on your muscles. Your muscles have atrophied a little bit. I know about this. I had atrophied spiritual muscles for 32 years of my life. Then I had a near-death experience [00:19:00] and I got my intuitive gifts blown open. So I have a unique experience, but I think I’m called to do this work and teach this because of my unique experience, because I know what it feels like to have my intuitive gifts turn completely off for 32 years of my life.
I’ve been there. I know. So I know, but then, okay, so I can hear you, you might be saying, yeah, but I, I haven’t had a near death experience nor do I really want to have one. I get it. So I’m saying you can turn on your gifts without going through that big experience like I did. You turn them on by tuning in that’s all you gotta do.
My friends, you turn on or up your they’re activating and upgrading your intuitive gifts by tuning in, by connecting in to your higher self and your spirit guides. Okay. Back to leads. So let’s say you say to guides, should I invest in ads? To get leads. Yes. Let’s say they say yes. All right. Just yes, no questions.
You [00:20:00] get so much information from the divine, from yes-no questions and another way from human design, if you ask yes-no question, your body will lean forward for yes. And backwards for no. It’s brilliant. So back to spirit guides, spirit guides. Okay. You’re saying I should invest in leads. Is it Facebook?
Yes. All right. And just keep that going. You know, Facebook ads is a whole rabbit hole, like I said, but just keep tuning into guides. Yes, no, yes, no. What should I focus in on? Should I boost, or should I do an ad? Your spirit guides, your higher self can guide you through all of this. So let me go to an example right now with my guides right now in my business.
So I’m saying guides, I want to attract in a few new leads into my business. And it’s always helpful to get specific. So you could have new leads into your audience, leads into discovery calls, like what, where do I want to track new leads into? I’ve kind of just gone through this. Um, let me see. I’m just [00:21:00] going to ask my guides.
Okay. Well, first of all, I’m going to just going to start with step one guides. Do I want to attract a new leads? Yes. Okay. So we got that going for us. Where do I want to attract the new leads into like leads to what. I’m getting one-on-one clients and. Oh, okay. This is stuff I already know, but that’s okay.
Cause I do this work and I’m showing you that this works and this is how I operate my business each and every day. So, uh, I want to attract leads into my one-on-one coaching program and into my mastermind. That will be starting up in March called my soul mastermind. Okay. So I want to call them into discovery calls.
I want to call leads. People who are prospects that I want to turn into clients into discovery calls. Okay. So how can I call leads into how can I get new leads into discovery calls? Where should I focus? My efforts, spirit guides to get new leads into discovery calls. [00:22:00] Facebook lives. Okay. So that’s something, Hey, if you’ve been in my audience, you might’ve noticed that I’ve been on doing more Facebook lives lately because my guides have called me to it and I liked doing Facebook lives.
So they’re not calling me to something I don’t like to do. I really enjoy connecting to people via Facebook live, so yay. Okay. Facebook lives. And so I should be doing Facebook lives, guides and inviting people into discovery calls. Yes. Okay. And so guides, how many Facebook lives should I do between calling people and discovery calls?
So should I call people into a discovery call with every Facebook live? No. Okay. So how many Facebook lives should I do in a week? Okay. I’m getting three. And of those three, how often on average, should I invite people in discovery calls [00:23:00] one. So I should do one Facebook live. Where on average, I invite people in discovery calls and two, I just am offering Facebook lives.
Yes. Okay. See how easy this is. So guides. Where else should I be focused on calling in leads? Mailing list. I’m getting my mailing list. In my automations. Okay. I’ve already done this. So this is good. I’m all in alignment, automations. So what’s coming through is I should tweak some of my language in my automation to make it a little bit more timely and relevant.
When you call people into discovery calls, you always want to make sure that you’re very clear that the discovery call has to happen now. There’s a reason why it’s now, otherwise people will be like, yeah, discovery call. Sure. Maybe in a month or maybe in a year, but give them a reason why they have to connect with you right now.
And that’s what my guides are saying. Tweak my language to call people into discovery calls right now. Okay. That’s [00:24:00] pretty easy. I’ve already been working on that. So guides, anything else to focus on right now? No, that’s it. Woo. That feels easy, but easy is not the right word that feels ease fall because you know, I got it.
There’s some growth there. And in my Facebook lives, I get called to rawer and deeper and more complex topics. So there’s always growth. There’s always discomfort. It’s never the, the, unfortunately our spirit guides, aren’t here to allow us to hit the easy button. I wish they were. But they’re going to guide us to alignment and they’re going to guide us to authenticity.
And so rely on that. Hand those hard decisions over to them. Okay. Moving on to conversions. This is a really important one. Converting prospects into clients. So again, there’s a lot of different places where you can look at conversions, you know, the number of people who sign up for your [00:25:00] free opt-in the number of people who register for a program.
Let’s just focus on discovery calls for now, because that’s an easy way to look at conversions and to do the math. So. To be honest. I don’t know what the industry standard is for conversion rates. If discovery calls should be converting at 90% or 40% or 50%. All I know is what I convert at and that’s what I track.
And what I do is just say to myself, does this feel in alignment? So if I just did 10 discovery calls and 50% of them converted right now. Cause that’s the thing about discovery calls. A lot of my discovery calls may not convert today, but they convert in a year. It’s part of my journey to attract in clients.
And sometimes they’re not ready to go on a journey with me, but that discovery call was an important step in getting them ready and getting them to, yes. [00:26:00] When people pass after discovery call and whatever it is I’m offering, I always look at that is it’s just not for now. You know, it’s not for right now.
It may be for the future. It may be for a better, more aligned time in the future. So what I do during a launch and when I’m using discovery calls, as part of my launch is I track how I do. So if I call in 10 people into discovery call during the launch, And five of them convert and that’s a 50% conversion rate.
I just tune into higher self and guides and say, was that a good conversion rate? I mean, higher self and guides are very supportive, so they’re never going to be like critical, but you want to just look for that alignment. Did that feel aligned? Could that number have been higher? And if so, how, how can I improve for next time?
Did I need to do more discovery calls or did I do too many that I got burnt out towards the end? And that has happened to me [00:27:00] on launches. I did too many discovery calls and I got burnt out and you can see that you can see the math right in front of your eyes, where the people I had at the start of the discovery call, period, all converted very high.
And the people at the end converted low. Not because they weren’t great connections. It’s just, I had run out of gas and the people on the other end of the line felt that I believe on some level. But again, those people were probably a lot of passes for now and they’ll come back at a time in the future when it’s right for them and right for me.
So how can we call in help from our spirit guides and higher self into conversions? Well, this is also when you want to call in the energy of your ideal client avatar. So let’s say you have a discovery call scheduled call in the information you need for the discovery call tune in to the energy of your perspective client.
What is she most [00:28:00] need? What is she most want to hear from you? Ask your higher self and guides. How should I focus this conversation? What will be the most compelling thing for her to hear from me? How should I organize the conversation? Now I have a template that I use for my discovery calls, but I always call in guidance from my higher self and spirit guides to what I plug into that template.
And every once in a while they say, throw the template out the window and do something else. Like I always have a plan going in of every discovery call of what I should focus on that would be in highest service to the highest good of the person on the other end. And I’m pretty detached in the discovery calls for me.
It’s not like, how can I turn this into a sale for me? It’s like, how can I get the maximum connection to this person? And in [00:29:00] that connection, it will just become very clear whether or not now is the time to embark on a journey together or not. So I focus on maximum connection and I asked my spirit, guides my higher self, working with tuning and energetically to that perspective client and seeing if I can sense what she most needs for me in that moment.
That is how I organize my discovery calls. And with that divine guidance coming in. And when I tune into that, my discovery calls convert at a much higher rate. So get your spiritual support team, your higher self, your guides to help you call in people into discovery calls and help you with the discovery, calls them selves.
All right. The last thing we got is pricing. So we have leads coming in discovery calls. We’re converting them at a certain percentage, [00:30:00] and then we’re charging a certain amount for a product or service. So pricing. Pricing is such a big issue for so many of my clients. What do I charge nine times out of 10, if not more, spiritual entrepreneurs are not charging enough and they’ll say, but Alison, I did just raise my prices and people aren’t coming in.
Well, it’s normally not an issue of pricing. It’s normally an issue of a block that the client has that they’re not worth it, or they’re not able to create that value. So we got to start there and then it’s normally of just calling in the wrong leads, just not calling in the right leads for the product or service, because here’s the deal.
Y’all when you call in ideal clients. And especially if you’re in the service-based industry, but not exclusively, when [00:31:00] you call them in, they want to pay more. They may not realize that, but they want to pay more for you because when they pay more, they’re showing up at a higher level. When you charge more, you’re showing up at a higher level.
And so when you have the ideal client and you’re showing up at a higher level and she’s showing up at a higher level, the results are going to be next level. She’s going to get an even bigger return on the investment, whatever the investment is for. So it’s in everyone’s interest for you to be charging higher prices.
If you are in a service-based industry, or even if you’re not, if you’re offering products, no matter what, I recommend that you have a signature offering and that signature offering, if it’s service-based is one-on-one time with you, it’s VIP, it’s exclusive. And that signature offering is something that you charge VIP premium prices for.
And that signature offering is you showing [00:32:00] up at your very, very best. And fully immersed in your core gifts. And I will be doing a future podcast episode all about creating signature offerings. So stay tuned for that. But what I’ll say for now is when I say charging premium prices, I mean, for the products and services you’re offering, that is really enabling you to give the very best of yourself and trust me, my friends that is worth a lot of money.
So call in guides, call and hire yourself. Your prices should always feel a little uncomfortable. If they feel easy, they are not high enough. Ask your guides are my prices high enough? Huh? I just got a “no”. And I just raised my by a lot. So I’m actually going to ask my guidance right now. What do you mean by that?
Uh, let’s see what they give me. Oh, okay. Thank you for that. I just [00:33:00] received. That’s what they are for 2021, but they’re going up again in 2022. Okay. Thanks guides. So it’s like a, whenever you think that you’ve got it figured out and you’ve got this price and you’re calling in clients and you’ve got leads, conversions, price, harmony, then your guides call you and your higher self call you for something bigger.
And then you get that growth again. And you’re back to that discomfort. So, like I said, your soul is wired to grow and I believe your business is an extension of your soul. If you’re a soul guided entrepreneur and it is wired to grow, so your prices are always going to be evolving to reflect that. And they will normally be evolving in the upward direction of more and more and more, which is going to, you know, push you to levels and places that you never thought you’d go to before.
And your guides. And your higher self can guide you to that place that is on the outer edge of your comfort zone. And that [00:34:00] you’re the prices you’re pushing out on your comfort zone. You’re not out of your comfort zone. You’re not in distress because if you go over your comfort zone in distress, you won’t have that confidence.
You need to represent your true worth. And when people feel you confident and representing your true worth, it will be easy for them to say yes to whatever it is you’re offering, but you don’t want to be inside your comfort zone, either offering something that’s way beneath what your true value is. You want to be out there on the edges, pushing that’s where your prices are uncomfortable, but not stressful.
Your guides can guide you to that point. Yes, no questions. Should my offering be worth more than $500? Yes. More than a thousand. Yes. More than 5,000. No. Okay. Go down from there until you find that place. And when you find that place and you have your signature offering and aligned to that number, and you’re calling in your leads, you’re showing up [00:35:00] where your idle people are.
You’re calling them into a sales conversation. You’re giving them exactly what they need to hear in that sales conversation. And they are converting into ideal clients of yours and your guides, your higher self. Your divine spiritual support team can guide you through every step of that process. And I promise you the more you do it, the more easeful it all gets.
Both the fifth dimensional, connecting into the higher realms and the third dimensional sales aspects. It all gets more easeful and your business gets more predictable. And when you decide you want to do a program. And sell it out at 10 people. You just sell it out. It just happens. You get to that point where you just know everything’s going to sell out and it just does.
So my challenge for you this week, dear friends is to invite [00:36:00] in an even deeper connection to your spirit guides. However deep it is right now, invite a deeper why not? It can always go deeper, spend some time each and every day, connecting to them and your higher self in the three phases of the sales process.
How do I get more leads? When I get the lead, how do I call them into a deeper conversation and turn them into a client? And what should I be charging for my offerings? Ask your spirit guides and your higher self for direction and guidance on each. And every aspect of those three things. Receive their guidance.
If you’re not sure, take your best guess if you’re really not sure. Stick to yes or no questions your body will lean forward for yes. And your body will lean backwards. For know, you can get this information, take inspired [00:37:00] action on whatever it is. They’re guiding you to do R B and notice how it panned out.
